Golf superstar Jordan Spieth obviously has a lot of affection for our neighborhood. The Jesuit graduate shelled out $2.2 million for a home on Brookview Drive. But he does have one complaint.
His property is zoned R-10(A), “which limits the height of a fence in the front yard to 4 feet.” Spieth wants something a little bigger. According to a public notice from the Board of Adjustment, he’s asking for “a 3 foot special exception to the fence height regulations,” so he can build a 7 foot tall fence.
On November 18, the Board of Adjustment (Panel B) will vote on whether to grant his request. The public hearing is scheduled to take place inside City Hall at 1:00 p.m. We’ll let you know the result.
